Marriage Statistics

ONS marriage statistics were released on Nomis at 09:30 on the 27th April 2016

Two datasets have been released. One has detailed statistics for England and Wales as a whole, the other is broken down to region and local authority level but using broader age and marital status groupings.

Both datasets can be accessed under the Life Events theme when you start a query in Data downloads.

Metadata and links to the ONS release are accessible from withing the individual datasets.
